Service requires a combination of trail reconstruction, water bar
installation, tread rehab, brushing, turnpike repair, and sign
installation. A short section (197 meters) of new trail construction
with three switchbacks will be constructed under this project.
Chainsaws can be used. The project is located on the Seeley Lake Ranger
District, Lolo National Forest, Powell County, Montana, approximately
7 air miles northeast of Seeley Lake. This project will be advertised
as a written quotation, and will be solicited under the Simplified
Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Quotes are due July 12, 2000. The
estimated start work date is August 1, 2000. The performance period is
approximately 90 calendar days. The estimated price range is between
$25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which
