perform drydock repairs including but not limited to the following Base
Items: (1) Inspect Bulkhead Plating between Engine Room and Aft
Berthing Compartment, (2) Inspect Skeg Top Plate, (3) Remove and
Dispose of Fuel, (4) Clean and Inspect Fuel and Waste Oil Tanks, (5)
Clean and Inspect Potable Water Tanks, (6) Clean and Inspect Forward
Void, (7) Clean and Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and
Holding Tanks, (8) Renew Forward Peak Hatch, (9) Remove, Inspect and
Reinstall Propeller Shafts, (10) Renew Water Lubricated Propeller Shaft
Bearings, (11) Remove and Reinstall Propellers, (12) Inspect MDE
Exhaust System, (13) Improve Ship_s Ventilation, (14) Overhaul, Renew
and Test Valves, (15) Inspect and Overhaul Duplex Sea Strainers, (16)
Remove and Reinstall Rudders, (17) Overhaul Stabilizing Fins, (18)
Preserve Forepeak Compartment, (19) Preserve Weather Decks, (20)
Preserve Aluminum Mast, (21) Inspect and Maintain Cathodic Protection
System, (22) Provide Temporary Messing, (23) Provide Temporary
Berthing, (24) Provide Temporary Logistics, (25) Routine Drydocking,
(26) GFP Report. Optional Items include but are not limited to the
following: (1) Welding Repairs, (2) Renew Skeg Top Plate, (3) Preserve
Potable Water Tank, (4) Remove and Fabricate, Fit and Install Bronze
Sleeve, (5) Renew Rudder Bearings, (6) Preserve Underwater Body, (7)
Provide Additional Temporary Messing, (8) Provide Additional Temporary
Berthing, (9) Ultrasonic Testing, (10) Composite Labor, (11) Laydays.
The vessel is a 110 Foot _B_ Class Patrol Boat. Vessel_s homeport is
located in Key West, FL. The performance period for this vessel is
forty-two (42) calendar days, beginning on or about 25 September 2000.

Street, Suite 500, Norfolk, VA. A non-refundable charge of $150.00 may
be required in the form of a certified check or money order made
payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. Drawings are
also available, free of charge, on CD-ROM. For more information about
CD-ROM drawings, contact the Contracting Officials listed above. All
businesses, large and small, are encouraged to submit bids for the
subject requirements. Plans and specifications will be issued on or
after 30 June 2000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which
shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. ATTENTION:

The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program
(STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit
to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
