MAIN ELECT SWITCH GEAR SOL 7609-RFQ-0034 POC Contracting Officer, Karen Giles, (510)970-8355 The Social Security Administration has a requirement to perform annual preventive maintenance and load testing of all circuit breakers, tie breakers, and trip elements for building's main electrical switchgear. Work to be performed on Columbus Day Holiday Weekend, 10/6/00 through 10/9/00. Work to be performed on-site at the Frank Hagel Federal Building, Social Security Administration, 1221 Nevin Avenue, Richmond, CA. All work on switch board to be performed outside normal business hours. Contractor to also provide labor, material, and equipment to repair, test, and certify, as necessary, all circuit breakers from main electrical switch board after breakers have been removed from main switch board for preventive maintenance. The breakers are to be shipped to the Contractor's facility for testing and then returned to the Social Security Administration upon completion of the repairs and testing. The Contractor shall bear all costs related to transportation and/or delivery of the breakers. The standard industrial code (SIC) is 7699. This procurement is a 100 percent small business set aside.
