The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a Modification to a Firm Fixed Price Contract for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) procurement of no more than 325 AIM-9M Missile, 8/9 Guidance Control Systems Modification Kits and Installs over a 2 year period (September 00 through August 02). The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Raytheon Missile Systems, located at 1151 E. Hermans Rd., Tucson, AZ 85706. Contractor will provide the Modification Kits and will install those kits in the FMS country's Guidance Control Systems. Raytheon Missile Systems, the original manufacture of the Guidance Control Systems, is the only known source, possessing the requisite knowledge, experience, special tooling, and technical data required to provide the hardware and install these kits.
