This is combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. N00164-00-Q-0220 applies and is issued as request for quotation (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 19.502(a), the Contracting Officer has dissolved the small business set-aside and this requirement is a sole source to Nammo Raufoss AS, P.O. Box 162 N-2831 RAUFOSS, Norway. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 2000413. The standard industrial code is 1340. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001- 9 wooden boxes of 21mm trainer rockets (79 per box), 6 wooden boxes w/dunnage and aluminum tubes that simulate the weight of 72 trainer rockets per box, and 1 dummy pallet w/12 wooden boxes containing 72 sand-filled aluminum containers per box. The rocket is packed in an A1 Container and placed in a wooden box. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, In. 47522 within 145 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. A firm-Fixed Price Purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
