publication is a sources sought synopsis, which will be utilized as a
market research tool. The Government may have a need to purchase
Circuit Card Assemblies required to be used on the CIRE TRU which
support the U.S. Army's M1A1 tank fleet. A general description of the
requirements follows: Circuit Card Assembly, NSN: 5998-01-456-2563,
P/N: 9376233-2. The Scan Control Circuit Card Assembly is an electronic
printed circuit board, composed of surface mounted electronic
components. There are Nuclear Hardness Critical Items (design changes
or proposed substitutes of HCI or design changes of circuitry must be
evaluated for Nuclear Hardness Survivability prior to implementation)
utilized in this assembly. The primary function of this circuit card is
to provide the necessary signals to control a mechanical scanner at a
nominal frequency of 40 Hertz. Other functions include generation of
drive signals for vertical interlace and horizontal scan position. The
purpose of this notice is to identify and establish initial interest
and points of contact from private industry. This information may be
used to prepare a bidders mailing list and design acquisition strategy
to include socioeconomic program support. It may also help to
identify/establish commercial practices available to the Government.
Any responses to this notice should include the following: Company
Name, Point of Contact, Address, Telephone and Fax Numbers, E-Mail
address, Brief Description of Company/Capabilities, Experience Areas,
Size, History, Duns Number, Cage Code and/or Tax ID Number, and
Large/Small Business Category. Include any suggestions on what your
firm would consider standard commercial practices. Provide any
supporting information such as commercial literature, catalogues,
manuals, etc. No solicitation will be issued at this time.
Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or
obligation to be incurred by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government
will in no way be obligated to purchase all or part of the items
described above, and is providing this information as "general"
information only. The U.S. Government will in no way be bound to this
information if any solicitation is issued. Notice to Contractors: All
contractors who provide goods or services to the Department of Defense
