DESCRIPTION -- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is AMSTAL-CBA0-3500. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated standard industrial classification code is 3579, with a size standard of $18.0 million. The requirement is for 1 year of maintenance for the TACOM owned Xerox 4090S-U Laser Printing System, Serial Number 021177. This service includes all parts, equipment, material and labor to keep the system in normal operating condition. The required level of service is "3 X 5" or on a 24-hour basis for all workdays exclusive of weekends and holidays with a maximum response time of 4 hours.. Services are for TACOM/AMSTA-LC-B, Warren, MI, and the new performance period will begin 07/01/00. FOB Destination will apply.
