combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested; and
a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued
as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and this document serves as the
solicitation. Solicitation number is DAHA23-00-T-0013. Solicitation
document and incorporated provision and clauses are current through
Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. This procurement is unrestricted.
Contractor will provide the following: (l) Meter T/F, P/N 10222 for
heading situation indicator (aircraft) 6 Each; (2) Brush assembly, P/N
10234, 6 each; (3) Meter alarm, P/N 124783, 20 each; (4) Synchro, P/N
14338, 10 each; (5) Ball bearing, P/N 10129-306, 40 each; (6) Meter
Movement, P/N 124556, 15 each; (7) Pointer, P/N 124573, 10 each; (8)
Pointer, P/N 124575, 10 each; (9) Pointer, P/N 124574, 10 each; (10)
Pointer, P/N 124576, 10 each; (11) Marker, P/N 124579, 5 each; and (12)
Meter, P/N 124557, 10 each. Parts are manufactured by Astronautics
Corporation of America. Parts are to be shipped FOB destination to MO
AVCRAD Shop, 2501 Lester Jones Avenue, Springfield, MO 65803. The
Government intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract without
discussion with offerors. The Government reserves the right to conduct
discussions, if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be
necessary. Should discussions be deemed necessary due to proposal
weakness, deficiency, or other issues which must be addressed before
award, they will be conducted either orally or in writing with only
those offerors determined to be in the competitive range. The offeror
will then be given the opportunity to correct those deficiencies and
resubmit their offer. The Government will select the technically
acceptable, low cost offeror. All offerors shall submit the following
information: Proposal addressing ability to providethe parts; date
parts will be shipped and cost proposal. Include a completed copy of
the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and
Certifications-Commercial Item. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and
Conditions applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract
Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders
Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Acquisition of Commercial
Items, 252.225-7001 & 252.225-7036 apply to this acquisition. The
following contract clauses apply to this acquisition: DFARS
252.225-7007, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-35, FAR 25.222-36, FAR
52.222-37, and FAR 52.232-34. Proposals are due on 1 June 2000 at 1000
