The Human Resources Management Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a contractor to perform employee relations services from the date of award through September 30, 2000. The Contract Employee Relations (ER) Specialist shall have a minimum of ten years of progressively difficult experience working in a Federal environment with a hands on involvement in the areas of conduct, discipline, adverse action, performance management, and administrative investigations. The contractor shall have a technical knowledge of the federal ER laws, regulations and procedures; and basic knowledge of federal human resource management laws, regulations and procedures. The specific tasks are described in the Statement of Work included in the Request for Quotation. The services are to be performed on-site at NIST, Gaithersburg, MD. The Request for Quotation is being issued utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates to award a firm-fixed price purchase order within two weeks after the due date. The Request for Quotation package will be issued on or about May 19, 2000 with quotes due June 15, 2000.
