This purchase is for major customer support of the Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Demo III Program, which is built on a VxWorks-based architecture. ARL's use of the same operating environment is essential for technology transfer to its customer. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12.
