Project work site is located on the Malheur national Forest, approximately 45 miles from John Day, Oregon. Hourly rental of heavy equipment with operator; to include twenty (20) cubic yard belly dump trailer and truck tractor and operator. Total estimated hours of equipment use is 1,500 hours with rental of up to five (5) truck tractor and belly dump combinations. The Government may make multiple contract awards under this solicitaation. Estimated equipment hours of use may not be continious. Contractor shall provide all operating supplies. Equipment will be subject to Government inspections prior to start of work. If the equipment is not satisfactory, no payment will be made. Should the equipment fail during the performance of work and not be repaired or replaced, or should the equipment be rejected by the Government during work for unsatisfactory performance, work time will end and return time will not be paid. Point of hire is John Day, Oregon. Estimated start work date is July 20, 2000. Response time required is 48 hours after an order is placed.
