IMAGESTATION Z UPGRADE KIT The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Z/1 Imaging Corporation to acquire Image Station Z upgrade kit. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements: 1) Image Station Z Upgrade kit to include Imagestation Z-IV base computer to replace existing Imagestation machine (Dual 550 MHz Xeon, 256 MB RAM, 9GB System disk, 2 18G data disks, mouse, keyboard, windows NT 4.0 operating system) and Image Station Soft Copy Kit (SSK) which interfaces to the existing stereo emitter hardware and software. This also includes a 21" high resolution monitor with a 1year warranty. 2)Crystal Eyes Stereo Glasses 3)Image station Photogrammetric Manager (ISPM) Included with SSK 4)Imagestation Stero Display (ISSD) Included with SSK 5)Imagestation Feature Collection (ISFC) 6)Imagestation Ortho Pro Software 7)Maintenance for 1 Year A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms that believe they and can provide the required items and services described above are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Firms believing they can provide similar required items and services must provide supporting evidence that they can furnish the supplies identified above in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responses received within 10 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
