protection piping supplied by the 6_ branch line from Zone Valve #1
located at Pier 36 ISC Seattle, Seattle, WA.. Install new replacement
under pier zone valve #1 fire protection piping system complete before
beginning demolition of existing fire under pier fire protection
system Demolition of the existing pipe, fittings and hangers shall
begin just below the pier deck at the first 6_ pipe joint and shall be
complete for only the zone valve #1 area. All removed pipe, fittings
and hangers become the property of the contractor and shall be removed
from the ISC Seattle property. All new replacement fire protection
piping system work shall be installed per NFPA 13 using galvanized
schedule 40 pipe, black cast iron fittings, galvanized hangers and wax
coated sprinkler heads. Before new system tie in contractor to perform
hydrostatic test at 200 psig on below pierfire protection replacement
piping system. After new system tie in contractor to perform trip test
(set air pressure in dry pipe system at 40 psig before trip test.
Complete all construction work in a 60 day time period. SIC Code1711
