The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a Phase I
cultural resources study, defined by Virginia regulations (found at
http://state.vipnet.org/dhr/) of a tract in Fairfax County, Virginia.
The Lorton Exchange Tract is north of Silverbrook Road within the
boundaries of the Lorton Prison property. The BLM, Department of the
Interior, is considering an exchange of this property with a tract of
privately owned property. To ensure that federal standards are met and
required products are obtained, the Bureau of Land Management will
review and approve the qualifications of the study team and the quality
and completeness of all work products. This requirement is 100%
set-a-side for Small Business Concerns. See Note 1. Posted 05/16/00
