(309) 782-6353. The Mines, Demolition, and Grenades office of the
Munitions Armament Center (MAC) is conducting a market survey of
industry to identify sources that may be interested in manufacturing
the MK36 Demolition Charge. The MK36 Demolition Charge consists of a
welded cylindrical aluminum case with two (2) cavities for accomodating
two (2) firing devices, permanent magnets for attaching to steel
structures, and an explosive charge. The technical description of this
item is identified as Charge, Demolition; NSN 1375-00-316-3610, and
PL2500128. This information can be requested from Contract Specialist,

ponced@osc.army.mil. A respondent to this survey should be able to show
that they have adequate technical and manufacturing capability and good
past performance in the explosives processing industry, as an indicator
of your qualifications as a manufacturer for this item. A respondent to
this market survey must have available a majority of the skills and
facilities that are required to manufacture this demo charge assembly.
Interested companies who feel they have the necessary manufacturing
capabilities should respond by providing the government the following
information; a brief summary of the company's capabilities, including
a description of facilities, personnel, and past manufacturing
experience as it relates to the above criteria and estimated minimum
and maximum monthly production quantities that can be produced and the
Minimun Procurement Quantity (MPQ) required for production. If a
respondent does not have adequate resources (technical, manufacturing,
personnel, etc) available, the respondent must be able to demonstrate
his ability to obtain those resources in a timely fashion. If a
respondent chooses to utilize the services of sub-tier vendors or
subcontractors, those vendors or subcontractors must also meet this
criteria. Information shall be submitted within 30 calendar days from
the date of this publication to: US Army Operations Support Command,
ATTN: AMSIO-CCG, Donna Ponce, Rock Island, Il 61299-6000. This is a
market survey for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as
a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the
