Approximate package sizes to be off-loaded, hauled, and placed in the disposal trench are: for horizontal cylindrical packages (Group A), 1100 short tons, 38 to 41 feet long and 33 feet in diameter; for vertical cylindrical packages (Group B), 1500 short tons, 41 feet tall and 33 feet in diameter; for horizonal cylindrical packages (Group C), 1500 short tons, 43 feet long and 33 feet in diameter. Estimated quantities include 4 Group A packages and 4 Group B packages in the base year; 6 Group A, 2 Group B, and 2 Group C packages in the first option year; and 3 Group A and 2 Group C packages in the second option year. Complete specification requirements will be included in the solicitation. First shipment to take place as early as 1 March 2001.
