14 -- TRIAXIAL ACCELEROMETERS SOL N68936-00-R-0133 DUE 061600 POC Erin Strand, Contract Specialist, (760) 939-7309, Mary Jacobs, Contracting Officer, (760) 939-6043 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to procure Triaxial Accelerometers qualified under Source Control Drawing 639AS9485, Triaxial Accelerometer. The triaxial accelerometers will be used as components of a telemetry system for the Sidewinder Missile Project training rounds. The accelerometers must meet the required form, fit, and function specified in Source Control Drawing 639AS9485 for a preexisting missile telemetry fabrication package, which includes the input voltage range of +15V, internal signal conditioning output of +5.0V for full-scale detection, and output impedance of 1 ohm. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business (SIC 3812, size standard is 750 employees), and will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 procedures. To qualify product under Drawing 639AS9485, a vendor's product must undergo first article qualification at their own expense. The Government reserves the right to waive first article for accelerometers that have previously been delivered by the offeror and accepted by the Government with the last 1 year. A minimum of 100 units each will be ordered at contract award and a maximum of 500 units each may be ordered over the 5-year term of the contract (1 basic year with four 1-year options). Delivery will be FOB destination to NAWCWPNS, China Lake, beginning 90 days after the effective date of the delivery order at a delivery rate of 15 units per month.
