webbd@ria.army.mil. The Government is performing a Market Survey to:
1)Acquire Potential Vendor Sources of supply, who are
capable/interested in providing a Bender Set, Tube Hand in accordance
with the description specified below. The Bender shall be capable of
making bends of up to 90 degrees in copper, brass, aluminum, steel and
stainless steel tubing with outside diameter(OD) of 0.25 inches to
1.25 inches OD without kinking the tubing or reducing the fluid
carrying capability. The bender shall also be capable of: 1) Bending
copper, aluminum, brass and steel tubing in the range of 0.25 inches to
.075 inches OD with wall thickness of 0.035 to no less than 0.188
inches. 2) Bending 1.25 OD steel tubing with a wall thickness of not
less than 0.083 inches. 3) Bending 0.25 to 0.75 inch OD stainless steel
tubing with wall thickness of 0.035 to not less than 0.188 inches. 4)
Bending 1-inch OD stainless steel tubing with a wall thickness of not
less than 0.134 inches. 5) Bending 1.25-inch OD stainless steel tubing
with a wall thickness of not less than 0.072 inches. The tube bender
shall be capable of being held securely in a vise with 4-inch jaw
opening while performing the bending operation. The bender shall have
a method for showing the degree of bend. Submit any commercial
