The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center is soliciting for responsible sources for a requirement-type contract for an estimated 42 each Dual Point Davit Systems to be installed onboard the 210' WMEC, 270' WMEC, and 378' WHEC, Coast Guard Cutters. The Davits shall be commercial items, which are SOLAS approved for a minimum design working load of 11,000 lbs. on the 210' and 270' WMEC cutters and 16,000 lbs. on the 378' WHEC cutters. The design shall allow for launching and retrieval of a loaded boat under advanced sea states. The Davits shall feature an integrated boat cradle to accommodate up to a 26 ft. LOA X 9 ft. maximum beam RHI and the U.S. Coast guard MK V MSB on the 210' and 270' WMEC's and an integrated cradle for a 40 ft LOA X 9 ft. maximum beam RHI on the 378 WHEC. Davits shall be constant tension with an assembly type design featuring all components necessary for davit operation mounted "on deck" in the davit location. The Contractor shall also be responsible for providing Provisioning Technical Documentation; Spare Parts Kit; Operation and Maintenance Manuals; Technical manuals; Manufacturing, Arrangement, and Assembly Drawings; Installation Drawings (all drawings to be in AutoCAD Version 14); and a Qualified Technical Representative for onboard training to which includes student guides, training manuals, and operational training video. It is intended to award a requirements-type contract with one base year and four option years. Delivery shall be F.O.B.
