This is a Commercial item Acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 15. Contractor shall provide radiology/nuclear medicine transcription services to the VA Medical Center, Miami, Florida and the VA Outpatient Clinic, Oakland Park, Florida. Transcribed material will include a high incidence of technical terminology and will require a wide knowledge of the specialized medical and diagnostic imaging vocabulary. The work required will consists of providing medical transcription in English, of the following: Routine diagnostics, X-Ray Reports, MRI, CT Reports, Neuro and Vascular special procedures reports, Mammogram reports, Ultrasound Reports, Nuclear Medicine Reports and other miscellaneous reports generated by Imaging Services. The contract period is one year with 4 one-year renewal options. This acquisition is a 100 percent small business set-aside. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 7389 and a size standard of $5 million is applicable. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer.
