The US Army Materiel Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for Universal Static Line (USL) which consists of a 15' long static line and a 5' extension. The 15' static line section will be girth hitched to the standard d-bag to a snaphook. It will replace the current 15' static line. The Government anticipates that this acquisition, utilizing the best value concept, will result in an IDIQ contract. The government anticipates ordering a minimum of 10,000 and a maximum of 120,000 Universal Static Lines for the first year of the contract and a minimum of 10,000 and a maximum of 60,000 Universal Static Lines for years 2-5. Multiple contracts will be awarded with a goal of guaranteeing each awarded contract a minimum of 2,500 and a maximum of 60,000 for each contract year. This will be restricted to the approved sources on the Qualified Product List (QPL) 6645. Other interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, but will not be considered for this procurement.
