GSA,HOTD/Central Heating & Refrigeration Plant is soliciting proposals from small businesses to award a contract to modify the Bailey INFI 90 boiler control logic and upgrade the PC View software to the latest available version. Central Heating & Refrigeration Plant currently has four boilers connected to the Bailey INFI net 90 distributed control system. The operator interface currently being used is LAN-90 Process Control View (5.2). Central Plant has recently experienced boiler trips due to its boilers responding to demand too rapidly. This rapid response caused large swings in boiler drum level ultimately moduify and tune the boiler logic. It is the intention of this contract to modify and tune the boiler logic in such a way as to optimize boiler response to plant demand. A pre-proposal conference including walk thru of the job site has been scheduled for 9AM, Friday, May 19, 2000 at the Central Heating & Refrigeration Plant.
