USAID/CAR Regional Mission is issuing this combined Request for Information & Request for Quotation (RFI/RFQ) which may result in a commercial contract type to procure professional technical assistance services for assessing the trade and investment environment in Tajikistan. The contractor will fly into Tajikistan, if not currently there, to hold meetings with identified ministerial officials, investors, business managers, lenders, local government officials, and inspectors to assess the legal and regulatory constraints that deter investors. The contractor shall additionally analyze existing bureaucratic procedures that further hinder investment. Individuals who are U.S. Citizens or U.S. Resident Aliens and U.S. small businesses are strongly encouraged to respond. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5 floppy disk (MS Word format).
