Contracting Officer @ 202/307-3070 Concerns having the ability to
provide Community Corrections Center (CCC) (Halfway House) and
Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male Federal
offenders. Line Item #1 -- Provide residential CCC for male offenders
in the Madison, Wisconsin area for the following counties: Jefferson,
Columbia and Dane counties (Offeror's facility must be located within
these three counties). Line Item #2 -- Provide outpatient transitional
drug abuse treatment services for male offenders confined in
community-based programs in the Madison, Wisconsin area for the
following counties: Jefferson, Columbia and Dane Counties (Offeror's
facility must be located within these three counties). A firm-fixed
price, indefinite quantity type contract with a two year base period
and three-one year options is anticipated for line item #1. A
firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with a two year base
period and three-one year option is anticipated for line item #2.
Services for the base period are to begin October 1, 2000 through
September 30, 2002. Those interested are requested to give written
notification (including telephone number and point of contact) to the
contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include
care, custody, control, accountability and medical services for CCC.
The estimated total number of inmate days for the base year and the
first, second, and third option years for CCC services (line item #1)
is a minimum of 1,825 and a maximum of 3,650 inmate days. Line item #2,
transitional drug abuse treatment services are required for a total of
20 inmates for the base year and each of the three one-year options
include the following: An estimated total of two (2) intake
assessments, individual counseling (24 half-hour sessions), and group
counseling (48 half-hour sessions per inmate) are required for the base
year and first, second and third option years. The services required
for line item #1 shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons'
Community Corrections Center Statement of Work, dated January 2000 and
for line item #2 the Bureau of Prison's Transitional Drug Abuse
Treatment Statement of Work, dated November 16, 1999. Estimated RFP
issue date is on or about May 19, 2000 and the estimated closing date
is June 19, 2000. All responsible parties may submit a proposal which
will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
