(i.) This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items
prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented
with additional information as included in this notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being
requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii.)
Solicitation #: F44600-00-T-0105. This solicitation is issued as a
request for quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as
outlined in FAR Part 13. (iii.) This solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal
Acquisition Circular 97-17. It is the contractor_s responsibility to
be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. (iv.) This is a
100% small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification
(SIC) code is 3569. The size standard for this SIC code is 500
employees. (v.) Contract line item (CLIN) 0001: Duel zone hot bonder,
1 each; CLIN 0002: Hot bonder, 6 each. (vi.) The 1st Contracting
Squadron intends to procure on a sole-source basis, the following
items: 1 Wichitech HB-2 Duel Zone Composite Repair System and 6
Wichitech HB-1 Composite Repair Systems. (vii.) Items are to be
delivered NLT 5 June00, to 84 Birch St. Langley AFB, VA 23665. FOB is
destination. (viii.) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors- Commercial applies to this acquisition. (ix.) The Government
will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the
responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be
most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance
considered. A comparative analysis of offers will be conducted to
determine which offer provides the best value. (x.) Offerors are
advised to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3,
Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with
his/her offer. (xi.) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and
Conditions- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (xii.) The
clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to
Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items (Deviation)
applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses are also
