12 -- COMMERCIALLY-AVAILABLE ALTERNATIVE MAIN CHARGE ATTACK METHODS/TECHNIQUES FOR UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE DUE 052300 POC Karen Carnes, Business Assistant, (301) 744-6883 The Department of Defense, Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, (NAVEODTECHDIV) is requesting information for alternate main charge attack methods for unexploded ordnance. Descriptive literature to include product data sheets, product quality, reliability, warranty, company points of contact and pricing information for state-of-the-art commercial off the shelf (COTS) alternate main charge attack methods or techniques for unexploded ordnance are requested. Desired system parameters: Capable of neutralizing munitions families/classes non-violently (i.e. by burning or low-order detonation) by attacking the main charge. The data collected from this market research effort will be utilized to understand commercial available items' ability to meet the projected needs and do not necessarily represent the minimum acceptable capabilities.
