Patterson 612-370-2136 The United States Department of Agriculture
(USDA), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Pink Boworm Rearing
Facility (PBWRF), Phoenix, Arizona, intends to acquire 48 knock down
traps (Cyclone). Traps are to be constructed from 22 gauge stainless
steel, all welded construction, 24 left handed cyclones and 24 right
handed cyclones. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued. Unit of issue is each. Traps shall meet the PPQ specifications
which will be provided, for a copy of the schematic drawing of the
trap fax the request to Patty Patterson at 612-370-2136. If bidder
wishes to see a trap contact Joseph Ploski 602-379-4828 to arrange to
visit the facility in Phoenix, AZ. Delivery of the traps are to be made
no more than 12 weeks after award of purchase order. Bidders shall
submit one first article sample trap for approval prior to general
fabrication to be delivered to USDA APHIS PPQ PBWRF 3645 East Chipman
Road, Phoenix, Arizona, attn.: Joe Ploski. A firm-fixed price contract
will be awarded. F.O.B. Destination. This solicitation number
APPQWR43-0019-0 is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the
format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented as an Request for Proposal
(RFP). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses
which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15.

forwarded by mail to: USDA APHIS Purchasing, Butler Square West, 5th
