Request For Quotation number N00604-00-T-A166. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC-97-16. The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor intends on negotiating a firm fixed price contract for the following supplies. Item 0001: QTY 1 each, Dynamometer, hydraulic. Two directions of rotation. Capable of absorbing 1000 Nm of torque at 3600 rpm. For testing of 10 HP to 250 HP electric motors. Dynamometer shall be digitally controlled. Digital readout ofrpm and torque shall be provided. A water pressure control system shall be included. The system shall consist of manometers to monitor inlet and outlet pressures, inlet and outlet ball valves and dirt traps. Interface cables and calibration kit shall be provided. Three copies of operation and maintenance manuals, electrical schematics and spare parts lists shall be included. Deliver items to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Receiving Section, Bldg. 167, Pearl Harbor, HI 96860. Delivery of items will be FOB Destination, Pearl Harbor Hawaii. Delivery date will be NLT 19 May 2000. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement is 3829 and 500 employees, respectively.
