This is a combined synopsis/request for quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written quotation will not be issued. Required Delivery Date: within 30 days of date of award. Location: Patuxent River NAS, Bldg 463, Patuxent River, MD 20670. The requirement exists for new carpet installation in Bldg. 463 of the Patuxent River NAS. The requirement is for removal and destruction of existing carpet and purchase and installation of new carpet. The carpet should be polypropylene 26 oz. graphic loop commercial carpet with " rubber pad (separate or attached to carpet). Teal color is preferred. Supply and install cove base where applicable. Contractor is to remove and replace all furniture, furnishings, and items as needed to install carpet, including desks, file cabinets, and safes. Customer will remove all loose items from desktops and is responsible for moving computers. Customer understands the possibility of unforeseen damages to sub-floor and understands some additional floor prep may be necessary at additional costs. The submitted quotation should set a price for existing carpet removal and installation of new carpet, and should provide separately an estimate for unforeseen additional costs if necessary. Prospective contractors wishing to provide a quote in response to this RFQ shall call Ms. Laurita Horn at 301-757-5048 to arrange a site visit. The provisions and clauses at FAR 52.212-1 apply, except that there is an addendum to paragraph (h) in that this will be a single award. The following provisions and clauses also apply: FAR 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.232-33, DFARS 252.204-7004,252.212-7000, 252.212-7001, 252.225-7001. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which, if received in a timely manner, will be considered by this agency.
