http://www.eps.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/EPS?ACode=P&ProjID=Reference-Number-GS-02P-00-PWC-0048&LocID=93. The GSA Upstate Property
Management Center anticipates a requirement in the relatively near-term
for complete mechanical operation and maintenance services for the US
Border Stations at Champlain and Rooseveltown, New York. It is
considered likely that multi-year contract(s) will result, extending
for a minimum of several years. Potential sources are invited to
identify their technical ability to perform these services through the
submission of an abbreviated capabilities statement. Of particular
interest is past performance of similar scope, magnitude and complexity
to the requirement envisioned herein. Interested parties may identify
to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the
Government's requirement with a commercial item (FAR Part 12) within
the response time specified below. Ability to perform in these two
particular locations should also be addressed. Responding concerns are
asked to indicate their size status in relation to the applicable
Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 7349 and size standard
($12 million). Sources with 8(a) status, HUBZone concern, or otherwise
classified as a small disadvantaged business should identify
themselves in order that the contracting officer may better determine
the optimal procurement strategy. Submit the abbreviated capabilities
statement and routine inquiries to the attention of Ms. Kim Hammer at
the attached address. This is a sources sought synopsis for information
and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a
solicitation and is not to be construed as a commitment by the
Government. Responses are requested by 12 April 2000. Posted 04/08/00
