The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to prepare surfaces and airless spray paint all wood Exterior Surfaces of Buildings Y, Z, SS, & 774, Town Houses located at USCG Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Minimum Requirements: Work is to include power washing prior to painting each building exterior, building trim, soffits, porches, fascia, rails, louvers, columns, and canopies. The surface area to be painted is approximately 6,500 square feet for each town house. Work is to be performed by applicator that has satisfactorily applied paint by airless spray at a minimum of two sites. Performance Period is 30 days. Submittals due upon award include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, samples of paint color, laboratory data, MSDS's, references / applicator's qualifications. Products shall contain a mildewcide that will not adversely affect color, texture, or durability of coating. Coatings containing lead, zinc chromate, strontium chromate, asbestos, mercury, or confirmed or suspected human carcinogens are not to be used. Contractor shall comply with requirements of SSPC PA3, stringent guidance concerning spraying, environmental conditions, OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regs. Additional specifications / requirements are contained in Scope of Work that will be included with Request for Quote documents when they are mailed. A Site Visit will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. LOCATION: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed contract will be awarded under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered.
