Aero Simulation, Inc. is currently tasked under contract N61339-98-C-0050 with replacing the Instructor Operator Station and installing a Flight Management System into Device 2F129 Serial Numbers 1 through 5. It has been discovered that to permit an effective and efficient upgrade the obsolete Input/Output System requires replacement. Accordingly, Aero Simulation is being tasked to perform the Input/Output System Technology Upgrade. The sole-source tasking is required to permit the continuance of the current effort, minimize trainer unavailability, quickly eliminate safety hazards, and avoid duplication of effort and costs.
