Provide all labor, material, plant, equipment, supplies, and coordination required to replace the existing Multi Zone AHU, Air Cooled Direct expansion unit and two hot water heaters with a new Multi Zone AHU, Air Cooled Chiller, Chemical feed Unit, Expansion Tank, Make up Water unit with back flow prevention, Pump, fire dampers and two Hot Water heaters. Upgrade the existing HVAC DDC control systems. The contractor shall support the electrical conduit and boxes from the permanent building structures. Ceiling grids shall not be used to support these electrical devices. Replace heat detectors located on the mechanical room ceiling. Contractor shall provide insulation for all chilled water piping. All exposed chilled water piping shall be heat traced and insulated as required except under the thermal storage option. Options: Provide pricing for a new Thermal Storage Tank, Controls, Piping, sensors and Pad as shown on the drawing.. Pricing shall include all necessary work to ensure an operational thermal storage system. Provide pricing for emergency installation as an option. Equipment shall be purchased NLT seven days after Notice to Proceed and will be stored on Robins AFB. Equipment may be invoiced upon delivery to Robins AFB. Option pricing shall include installation of all equipment, piping ect to ensure an operational system within 10 calendar days of an emergency notice from the government. Commissioning, cleanup ect may be accomplished after the 10 day installation period. Working hour restrictions shall be lifted during this period. The approximate issue date will be 21 Apr 00 with the approximate response date of 24 May 00. The magnitude of construction is between $75,000 -- $99,900. This is an Invitation for Bid.
