RFQ-R6-8-00-13 Bonaparte Lookout Services The US Forest Service, Tonasket Ranger District, Wenatchee/Okanogan National Forest is seeking quotes for professional lookout services at the Bonaparte Lookout Station for two consecutive fire seasons, estimated to between June 21 and September 20, 2000 and 2001. Services shall be seven days a week with a base operating hours from 0930 thru 1800 hours and additional hours based on fire danger/activity level. This contract is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract with a minimum of 90 days contract guarantee for both seasons. Contractor shall be responsible for all provisions and transportation for continued services seven days a week. Bonaparte Lookout is located approximately 30 miles northeast of Tonasket, Washington. The first 18 miles are paved road and the next 7 miles are graveled single lane road, the remaining 4 miles is trail. Trail conditions are conducive to walking, pack horse and motorcycle A.T.V. use, limited to one trip per week for supplying the lookout.
