The estimated price range of the work is between $100,000 and $250,000 copies of solicitation will be provided in CD-ROM format at no charge for the first copy and $15.00 each (nonrefundable) for each additional copy requested; drawings will be hard copies.The principal components of the work include: Remove existing doors and frames and furnish and install fire labeled metal doors and frames in an existing concrete opening; remove two large glazing partitions (16' wide by 11' high) and furnish and install two new 1 -hour, fire-rated partitions, a set of double swing doors, and a single swing door in Control/Computer Room; saw-cut and excavate the existing exterior concrete walls for new openings and furnish and install fire labeled metal doors and frames in two locations and place a new concrete pad; construct 2-hour, fire-rated enclosures in two locations; construct 2-hour, fire-rated walls in existing opening in different locations and remove one timber wall and replace with a 2-hour fire-rated wall; install new structural steel stairway in Battery Room, install motor-operated fire/smoke dampers in existing duct work and in two new ducts; upgrade the existing suppression sprinkler systems and install new sprinkler head to meet current Fire Code requirement; all electrical wiring and connections for Anderson Ranch Dam Life Safely Improvement will be performed by the Government. The Contractor shall work with the Contracting Officer's Representative to establish a schedule for electrical wiring, connection, and testing. The government will make all reasonable efforts to perform wiring connections at such times and in such sequence as to permit completion of the work within the time allowed under a reasonable and orderly construction program.
