The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), U.S. Department of Commerce, intends to negotiate with only one source, American Airlines, 3800 N. Mingo Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74116, for the installation and maintenance of 24 Water Vapor Sensing System Units on American Airlines B-757 aircraft. The units are being placed aboard the American Airlines aircraft in support of NOAA's and the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Water Vapor Demonstration Program. The units are being carried free of charge, with only installation and maintenance costs being reimbursed by the Government.
