Caf Video-Agriculture/stewards of the land The purpose of this
procurement is to develop a 30 minute videotape for the Earth Caf Video
series regarding agriculture/stewards of the land. Specific
requirements/deliverables for this video are Requirements: Contractor
must provide: -- a video producer -- a scriptwriter -- a videographer
-- a film editor Deliverables: -- draft script due 10 business days
after award of contract -- final script due 5 business days after draft
script -- draft 30 minute video due May 31, 2000 -- final video due
June 5, 2000 -- distribution of videos to 120 television broadcast
stations due August 1, 2000 SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall produce
and distribute a 30 minute video tape regarding how agriculture takes
care of the land in a variety of ways to protect the environment. This
video will be the latest in the Earth Caf video series and graphics and
soundtracks must be consistent with previous Earth Caf videotapes.
Standards for this video must meet the quality of cable television as
compared to standards such as those used in training films. This video
must be of a quality to be broadcast on cable television and requires
the highest standards of visual quality for the viewing public. Color,
graphics and audio must be at the highest level of sophistication in
the industry. The video will be distributed to 120 television broadcast
stations in 32 states and will be seen by up to 18 million viewers. The
contractor shall meet with EPA staff to develop the draft scripts, to
identify individuals to be interviewed and to identify locations for
filming. Draft scripts will be reviewed and approved by EPA. The draft
video will also be reviewed and approved by EPA prior to going final.

this video. A final version must be delivered to EPA by June 5, 2000.
The delivery date for distribution of the final video to 120
television stations is August 1, 2000. RANKING FACTORS Bids will be
evaluated and ranked based on the criteria listed below. These factors
are in priority order. 1. Demonstrated ability to meet the time
specification. Contractor must deliver a completed video production by
June 5, 2000. 2. Demonstrated ability to produce graphical and audio
soundtracks that meet the standards of the cable television industry.
3. Ability to produce a video that is consistent with the format,
graphical layout and color schemes of existing Earth Caf videos. 4.
Price 5. Ability to conduct interviews with scientific, technical
and/or policy people and edit conversations and video into the
production. 6. Familiarity with environmental and agricultural subject
