Wolz (202)720-3736 This Request For Information (RFI) is being issued to obtain written industry comments and feed-back on the draft Statement of Work (SOW), dated March 17, 2000. Vendors are encouraged to review the draft SOW and to submit their written comments to the Contracting Officer, Scott C. Wolz, by Friday, April 7, 2000. The information may either be sent to the Contracting Officer via facsimile at 202-690-0689 or via e-mail at swolz@wdc.fsa.usda.gov. Telephone requests for the SOW will not be honored. The SOW addresses the potential requirements of the Risk Management Agency (RMA) to obtain contractor support in the development of new crop insurance and other crop risk management strategies and programs. The results of the RFI will only be used to refine the current draft SOW. Vendor information obtained through this RFI process will not be used in any other way during the RFP process. The government shall not pay for any information, literature, demonstration, etc., provided to the government as a result of this RFI. Please mark any information submitted to the Contracting Officer in response to this RFI as "RMA CROP INSURANCE PROJECT."
