The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, intends to issue a sole source Purchase Order to RB Enterprises, San Diego, CA for one (1) each TAC4 Dual Monitor J210XC Computer Workstation. This is unsuitable for full and open competition because the rugged console has successfully passed each shock test and vibration test to qualify it for shipboard installation. Therefore it is the only console used to install the AN/KSQ-1 system software in various Navy ships. To procure a different console it would have to undergo extensive testing, and would require additional system software, documentation and testing.
