Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delvery Contracts for School Buses,passenger buses and Inter-City Coaches of various sizes including optional features. In accordance with National School Bus Standards or meets eligibility requirements of the Federal Transit Administration, Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 665, Bus Testing, as applicable. In addition, buses and coaches shall be in accordance with applicable Federal Standards for buses prepared by the Engineering & Commodity Management Branch of the Automotive Division. Solicitation will issue on or about March 27,2000, and close on or about may 18, 2000. A one(1) day Pre-Proposal Conference will be held during the week of April 10, 2000 in the Crystal City, Arlington, VA area. The date, time and place will be stated in the solicitation. The Contract Period will be for one base year with four one year options and will contain an economic price adjustment clause. Written notice of intent to exercise the option to extend the term of the contract shall be given to the contractor 60 days before expiration of the contract. Delivery requirements will be 120 to 240 days respective of the type of bus or buses ordered. All resposive/responsible offers/proposals will be considered by the agency.
