The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to provide runway alterations and improvements which include: sitework, helipad electrical utilities, landscaping, and paved surfaces at the Naval Air Station, Whiting Field, Milton, FL. The SIC Code is 1611, Highway and Street Construction, Except elevated Highways.. The size standard is $17,000,000. The estimated range for this project is between $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. There is a Base Bid and Option One. The Base Bid includes site demolition, earthworks, asphalt and concrete paving, airfield markings, airfield lighting and incidental work. Option One includes all new construction effort related to Pad F. The estimated time for completion for both the Base Bid and Option One is 180 calendar days. Plans and Specifications will be available on/about 13 March 00 as an Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS). No paper copies will be available. Potential offerors and plan rooms must register on the WEB-site. The entire Solicitation, with drawings, will be available for viewing and downloading at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. The download time may be excessive. The official plan holder's list will be maintained and can be printed from the WEB-site. Amendments will be posted on the WEB-site for downloading.
