Y -- MODIFICATIONS TO HANGAR 3 -- BUILDING 2793 DUE 031600 POC Ms. Roseanna Pierce, 518-561-0232, ext. 14 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the "Modifications to Hangar 3 -- Building 2793" will be received by the Plattsburgh Airbase Redevelopment Corporation (PARC), 426 US Oval, Suite 1000, Plattsburgh, New York, until 2:00 p.m. March 16, 2000 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidential to the completion the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Modifications to an existing hangar including construction of new restrooms, installation of new heating system, sprinkler system and improvement to facility electrical service and lighting. A similar project has been previously bid, under the title "Modifications to Hangar 1, Building 2741." Construction Documents are to be available by March 7, 2000 to all bidder and may be reviewed at Building 426, at the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Contractors may obtain copies of these documents upon payment of $100.00 for each set (checks should be made payable to PARC) at the above address or by contacting Ms. Roseanna Pierce, 518-561-0232, ext. 14. The site visit will be held on March 13, 2000 at 11:00 a.m., starting at the PARC offices. If the bids are mailed, the envelope must state "Modifications to Hangar 3 -- Building 2793" on it. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
