This prospective requirement is for the establishment of a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for materials and engineering services necessary for the repair and servicing of Antenna Group OE-120()/UPX and its subassemblies. These services will be procured from Sanders, A Lockheed Martin Company, Surveillance Systems Division, P.O. Box 868, Nashua, New Hampshire 03061-0868 on a sole source basis citing statutory authority permitting other then full and open competition title 10, U.S.C. 2304c (1) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Sanders is the sole designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer of the OE-120()/UPX, including subassemblies for both Engineering/Development Model (EDM) and production model. Sanders is the only known firm with the technical capability and knowledge of the equipment to identify faults and make needed repairs, and provide the high level systems engineering and spares support required for OE-120()/UPX. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit information, no later than 15 days after this synopsis is published, which will be considered by this agency. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Services to be performed under the proposed BOA will span a period of three years beginning 20 May 2000 through 19 May 2003. The Standard Industry Code (SIC) is 8711. Work shall be performed at various ship and shore installations.
