The U.S. Geological Survey's Patuxent Wildlife Research Center and Fish and Wildlife Services' Patuxent Research Refuge (Patuxent) in Laurel, Maryland has a requirement for monitoring and repairing the Metasys System, which controls the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in Gabrielson Laboratory. There are five other buildings at Patuxent with six stations that are monitored by the Silent Night System. Specific work requirements are set forth in the Statement of Work. This project is a small business set-aside. The proposed procurement will be a multiple year contract with the base year running from April 1, 2000 through March 31, 2001 and two (2) option years which will run from April 1 through March 31, 2002 and 2003, contingent on availability of funds each fiscal year.
