The Government intends to procure on a sole source basis to Motorola, Inc., 20mw to 2 watt low power amplifier modules for XTS3000 Motorola portable radios. The modules are retrofit kits for the XTS3000 trunk radios. Quantity 100 each, Part Number P2076A. Salient Characteristics: (a) Output power has to be 20mw to 2 watts (variable). (b) New power module has to meet form/fit of existing 1-4 watt module for a Motorola XTS3000 portable trunking radio. (c) New power module has to operate in the 406-420 MHz frequency range. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, supplemented with information included in this notice. No hardcopy of RFQ will be prepared or made available. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses at FAR 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions -- Simplified Acquisitions (FEB 1998), and any others that are applicable and in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) and the Defense Acquisition Circular.
