Solicitation Issue date is March 13, 2000. Tentative Bidder Response
due date is April 6, 2000. Furnish exclusive use flight services, fully
contractor operated and maintained, consisting of one light turbine
helicopter Hughes 500D (or equal) in support of Bureau of Indian
Affairs wildland fire suppression program requirements. Designated base
is Nespelem, Washington, located on the Colville Indian Reservation.
TERO agreements with the Colville Tribe will apply to the successful
offeror. The Contractor must hold a current Federal Aviation
Administration, Part 135 Air Carrier or Operating Certificate and be
certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load
Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. The term of
the contract will be one year with options to renew for two additional
years. Use will be either a 90-day exclusive use period beginning
approximately June 13 through September 10, or a 60 day exclusive use
period beginning July 3 and running through August 31. Requests for the
