U -- The government needs training curriculum to be developed and training to be conducted for 2 levels of maintenance on the AN/ALQ 136/HPRT electronic jamming system: 1. operators/unit (flight line maintenance) (AVUM) training and 2. intermediate maintenance (AVIM) training. The training will be for 2 classes at each level. The AVUM level training will be conducted at Ft. Campbell, KY the AVIM level training will be conducted at the contractors facility. The government does not posess the source data on the AN/ALQ 136 or the HPRT to develope the training. The government intends to solicit from and award to one source, the developer and manufacturer of the AN/ALQ136 and HPRT: ITT Industries, ITT Aerospace/Communications, 100 Kingsland Rd., Clifton, NJ 07014. This procurement may be awarded under an existing basic ordering agreement. Prospective contractors who recognize and can produce the items are encouraged to iidentify themselves to the contracting officer and provide supporting evidence which will permit their participation in future procurements.
