RPP F08626-00-R-0027 is tentatively schedule to be released on or
about 28 Feb 00. A sources sought synopsis was published on 4 Nov 99.
Technical documentation concerning this program will be posted on the
electronic posting system (http:www.eps.gov) or provided upon special
request . Firms that have previously responded to any synopsis for this
requirement need not respond again This contemplated action will be a
small business set aside based on previous contact with industry for
those entities possessing SIC code 3531 and with 750 or fewer employees
. An ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only
purpose of the ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns
from potential offerors, when an offeror prefers not use established
channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development
phase of this acquisition . The ombudsman does not diminish the
authority of the program manager or contracting officer, but
communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreement, and
recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When
requested, the Ombudsmen shall maintain strict confidentiality as to
the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the
evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Potential
offerors should use established channels to request information, pose
questions, and voice concerns, before resorting to the use of
Ombudsman. Potential offerors are invited to contact AAC_s Ombudsman
