We are utilizing the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source to avoid duplication costs and unacceptable delays. The M68 Sight provided by Aimpoint is the only sight that has been type classified. This effort is expected to be awarded in the second quarter FY2000. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
