National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA), Arnold, MO facility, has a
requirement for a base and two option year firm, fixed-price
requirements contract for photo-lithographic printing plates
((conventional (analog) and laser imaged (digital)), printing chemicals
and laser plate processors. The analog plates and associated chemicals
required are: Western Lithotech 30 29/32""x 40 1 "x .012" (estimated
annual quantity = 750), 45 1/16" x 56 5/16" x .015" (estimated annual
quantity = 3,260) and 51 5/8" x 63 3/8" x .015" (estimated annual
quantity = 1,100), Western Lithotech finisher and Envirotech Black
Developer. The digital plates and associated chemicals required are:
Fuji 30 29/32" x 40 " x .012" (estimated annual quantity = 3,600),
developer, Fuji refinisher and finisher (negative), and AGFA (Enco)
N90A plates 30 29/32" x 40 " x .012" (estimated annual quantity =
1,500), 45 1/16" x 56 5/16" x .016" (estimated annual quantity =
5,100), 51 5/8" x 63 3/8" x .016" (estimated annual quantity =
1,280),AGFA developer and finisher. All digital plates and chemicals
must interface with Krause LaserStar image setting devices and Man
Roland sheetfed printing presses. All analog plates and chemicals must
interface with a Lithotech plate developing machine model 58-D and
with Man Roland sheetfed printing presses. NIMA is also seeking new
AGFA (2) Large Format #PHW-60 plate processors and Fuji (1) Small
Format #LP-850P-TW plate processor and remedial maintenance (service
calls) services for these processors to include time and material. NIMA
requires that the contractor provide and maintain a 30-day inventory of
plates and chemicals equivalent to 1/12 of the estimated annual
quantity requirement for each plate/chemical. NIMA anticipates that a
solicitation will be issued no later than 23 FEB 00. At that time, a
copy of the solicitation will be placed on the NIMA Home page at
http://164.214.2.59/poc/contracts/contracts.html. Offerors without
access to the World Wide Web and wishing to receive a copy of the
